importantto Christians

Toknow the bible is made up of different books.

 

In partners discuss what isthe best world wide selling book? BIBLE. Translated into over2000 languages. Why do Christians think it is so important?Christians believe it is the word of God. Although he didnt speakthem the stories tell use messages he has given followers throughother people.

Give children a selectionof bibles to look at and compare.

 

Watch section 5 of pathwaysvideo.

 

How many books are there inthe bible? 66. Split into Old and New testament. Each containsdifferent books.

Introduce the lesson by explaining that the OT containsmany stories about the history of the Jewish people andabout
